Time for “Walkies!” with Sophie Hall… Time for Toggi Outdoor!

One of my favourite things about Autumn/Winter is the excuse to get all wrapped up, layers on, and enjoy the crisp cold fresh air walking my little dogs Arthur and Darcy. Darcy is only a few months old so we have lots of exploring the outdoors to do and I secretly cannot wait for her first experience of playing in the snow!! What isn’t to love about getting active and coming back into a warm home, fire on and hot chocolate at the ready?

Whether you are looking for the perfect outfit to stick on for an early morning walk pre-work or a relaxed wander post-Sunday lunch the Toggi Outdoor range will have you covered! For most of us, walking the dog is an everyday routine, but your clothes don’t have to be. Here’s my style guide with a few of my absolute favourites if you are looking for some inspiration this winter:

The Pre-Work

The beautiful Woodland Liberty Print Shirt designed in the UK by Liberty of London is the perfect versatile item to wear both in and outside of work. I like to pair it with the Splash Water Resistant Trousers to stay protected no matter what the weather throws at you. The stretch fabric provides ultimate comfort whilst still looking very smart for the working day ahead. Layer on the khaki Elevation Coat for the ultimate warmth and finish with a cliff beanie if you’re feeling the need for a little something extra on those cold days.

The Casual Everyday

The mist Women’s zip neck top will provide a sleek silhouette, paired with the Cloud jumper in either the original snow white or the latest Storm Cloud in sage for the ultimate comfy casual. This cosy yet breathable Sherpa fleece is a great layering piece and a staple in any winter wardrobe. Pair with the Roam Multi-Purpose Tights for a flattering high waist legging which even aids muscle recovery thanks to the compression fabric should you go on an extra-long trek.

The Post Sunday Lunch

My final choice is actually what I am wearing right now and my go-to after a lovely weekend lunch out with friends. The Rustic Cable Knit Jumper is a gorgeous soft wool in wine red, the ultimate autumn winter shade. I like to pair this with the new Fog Fleece Gilet if I need an extra layer – the white and red complement each other beautifully and you’ll strike the perfect balance of casual yet chic if you’re heading to the pub first. Pop on a pair of jeans and the Canopy Coat in Charcoal to stay protected against the elements and don’t forget to make the most of the taped seams to find your perfect, stylish fit. Finish off with the Oak knitted gloves to keep those fingers nice and warm.

I hope these ideas help you get creative with your wardrobe for your next walk with your precious pooch.
